[SOLVED] Built pc it worked then moved it

Built the pc then moved it to new location in house it was fully operational went to hookit up to the tv in new location now I’m getting intermittent signals an red lights

I think the most likely scenario is that something got moved out of place (a connector or card or plug etc).

I would power it down and unplug it and go through the connections one by one. I would disconnect them, inspect them for anything odd or any debris and reconnect them.

You don't have to do all of them at once. You can do some and then try it....and then do some more....and maybe save the CPU for last as it is usually the biggest pain.

Thanks jay; we’ve tried going through step by step. Fact is I get really frustrated. Tried fan seating unplugged everything an still no improvements

Intermittent signals on the display?

Red MB lights?

If red MB lights....look at the MB manual and see what they mean. This will give you something to focus on. It may be the memory or the CPU or the graphics etc.

Reseat everything possible. PSU power cable, Ram etc.
