Built PC running Windows 10 and it doesn't get along with wireless router at all

There are a bunch of details here, and I'm sorry if they end up scattered, but I'll try to keep it short and simple.

-I have an Arris TG1672 Telephony Modem. I only use it for Internet connection. No other features such as telephone are being used.

-I have several Android devices, and a Windows 10 Laptop connected wirelessly.

-I have a gaming computer I built which also used to be connected wirelessly through a PCI card (a Linksys WMP600N) but now has a wired connection to said modem. Also a Windows 10 machine.

-I've restored system defaults and connected to everything again just fine (besides the new PC in question.)

As far as this new PC goes (the one that won't connect):

-I've used 2 different dongles and the Linksys PCI card that was in my gaming computer (Which worked with both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connections then) and they don't work with the router. I now only use the Linksys card.

-My 2.4 Ghz SSID pops up on the WiFi connections list (Along with anywhere from 6-12 other routers in my apartment building) but sometimes it doesn't pop up. Sometimes (most if not all) the other connections are all still there but my router's SSID intermittently disappears. When this happened last, I checked my phone to make sure it was still there and it was. I even ran a speed test through Speedtest's app and it was working just as fast as it has been. It just seems this new PC doesn't recognize it all the time.

-My 5 Ghz SSID doesn't appear at all. I don't know what this is about but in the device settings, it's set to pick up both.

-I've changed all the settings you can imagine and have even done a total WIndows 10 reset (the one that deletes all former system settings and returns them to default values.)

After all of this I finally thought to try to connect it to my phone, and it works (albeit terribly.) Speedtest.net registered that PC running through my phone's network at 1.78 Mbps with a 91 ping. If I run Speedtest on my phone it gets somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 Mbps (I don't know if this is helpful)

I've tried almost everything I can try, and I've read as many articles/forum posts as I could find but none of them seemed to match my exact issue and clearly none of it helped as it's still having issues.

I'm sure I'm missing something and I should be near my PC for the next 3 hours or so to answer questions pertaining to this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

question; is your router being supplied by your phone company? I have all my pcs connected to a router supplied by my phone company. along with the router, I was given 4 filters to connect to my phones which filter out interference, static, etc. do you have these attached to your phones? I am getting 100Mb/sec download on my router. all my desktops connect via the cable. My laptops are equipped to be used wireless and/or by cable. if i want my desktops to go wirelesss, I will buy a wireless adaptor compatible with windows 10 and install it.Hope this helps. if you are connected via your local cable provider, then contact themabout your problems.

I should say, I didn't build this PC, a friend did and he's been using it as a multimedia PC hooked to his living room television. It's not a top-tier PC and I'm pretty sure he built it in 2012 or around that neighborhood. Everything is still basically current as far as components go.

I don't really know what changed but for a couple of days I was able to connect to the 5ghz channel. Since then i restarted the computer and that channel disappeared again. I have the Cisco software installed and the latest ralink driver. Linksys doesn't provide a driver or at least not one i can find.

I would suggest you open windows, then at bottom of screen right click on the wireless and select the top option. it may be that windows 10 needs to reset your adaptor.if that don't work, you may need to get a different wireless adaptor for that pc in question.
