Well, I'm jumping into watercooling, and grabbed a bunch of used stuff off eBay (a fairly good set, with an eheim 1250 and such).
Unfortunately, the radiator that came with the set is a little big. OK, "gargantuan" is the word I would use. I'm guessing it must be a heater core instead of a made-for-watercooling gig, because it's wider than a 120mm fan and considerably taller (maybe 16-20cm tall or so).
Anyway, the point is that it really won't fit in my case no matter what tricks I come up with (and it's a nice shiny Chenbro GB2, so I'm reluctant to start arbitrarily sawing holes in it). So I have initially decided to make an exterior unit for pump/reservoir/radiator and just have tubes going into the case.
Good so far, but that's a pain to move. I'd love a way to have some sort of "quick disconnect" between outside unit and inside tubing, but I'm not sure how to go about that yet. Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
-->Stitch
