Which one is better!? Im confused is it worth the wait for bulldozer or should I stick with my intel core i5-2500k?

And Is this a good build for $1000?

Parts Not needed - OS, Monitor, Keyboard, and Mouse.

Budget - $800 - $1000

Preferred sites - Newegg (I will buy from anyway though)

There's no way bulldozer will have anywhere near as good performance per clock cycle as a 2500k. Games that can utilize more than 4 cores are still very rare at best- I don't see how a bulldozer is going to compete really.

2500k is gold and will last a long time with a solid overclock.

I can vouch that the motherboard is a good choice I have an extreme4 gen3 and it has served me very well so far.
