So i accidently bumped into my computer and my one harddrive stopped working. I cant remember hearing any bad sounds what so ever. So i rebooted my computer, again no bad sounds from the drive, and it spun like it should. In the BIOS it was recognizeable and it could find the info about manufacturer and the size of the HDD. On my desktop however the HDD was recognizeable but there "Space left" bar was gone (http://prntscr.com/683zyx). I am not able to run chkdsk, diskpart, run the disk manager or anything. They would all just freeze. I could not enter the hard drive either.

Solution
Hey there, Elex!

Unfortunately, it seems like your hard drive got damaged. If by 'bumping' you mean dropping, it's most probably internal and you won't be able to fix it.
Since it does get detected in BIOS, I'd suggest to run a diagnostics utility on it to test the health and check up on the S.M.A.R.T. status. You'd need a testing utility in DOS version in order to perform this. I'd recommend checking your HDD manufacturer's website for such a tool.
Or you can test using one of the utilities suggested here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
Have you tried it on another computer though?

Keep me posted!

Solution

Hey! i accidently pressed "best solution" but anyways, i did not drop the HDD. I was a bit clumsy and managed to bump into my computer as i was getting up from the chair. And BTW, it is a WD Green 2TB HDD. But i will see if i can get a diagnostic running.

Oh, I see! I'm very sorry to hear about your WD Green then! 🙁
Here's the link to WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics tool: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=SfoDXs

Make sure you run the extended as well as the quick test on the drive. It would be great if you could post a screenshot of the SMART results!

Let me know how it goes! :)

As you asked me first, I have tried another computer, but it is still the same. And sometimes it wont even boot with the HDD plugged in. Running windows 8.1 so it will just start an automatic repair which will sometimes just freeze. I've tried turning on the computer, let it boot then plug in the HDD, but it wont seem to recognize it then. So I wont be able to run the Windows Diagnostics. I tried it in DOS with a bootable USB, but whenever I tried to start a scan, it would just freeze aswell. Tried running a quick and extended scan, which both were on for 15-20min.

Guess my HDD is completely gone then.

Edit: Also, windows seems to be running extremly slow / freezing when HDD is plugged in and i actually get to boot my computer

Yes, I'm afraid it's gone! 🙁 It seems like it's definitely some sort of internal damage.
I'd suggest to check your warranty here: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=kTawO3
If your WD Green is still covered, you should contact our tech support ASAP and let them know about this. You should be able to send out an RMA request and get a replacement product.
