After a recent rebuild (motherboard/CPU) upgrade on my main rig, I noticed a burned chip at the bottom of my old board after examining it (not having any clue as to when it burned). The board seems to work fine, and has always been stable. I am curious what this component is, and if it could, or needs to be replaced. It seems to only have one terminal on each side, so it could be some type of resistor (maybe), and seems to be surface soldiered and doesn't have pins that go all the way through the PCB. I am mostly curious what it is and if it is a bad sign of failure for more critical components on the board, like bios chip, ect.
