Burned PCIe graphics cards

Hello, I have a small pile of unserviceable graphics cards. My mainboard manual says install in the 8x slot if only one card is in use. I didn´t do this not having read the manual, and installed in the 16x slot. Will these cards be recoverable or are they scrap?

Cards shouldnt be burned or anything just worked slower. Unless you were playing with voltages.
