Does anyone know if it's possible to burn music CD's where the original (source) is not a store bought CD and play them on your car CD player? I'm burning some LP's and cassettes to CD using the new Elite Pro X-Fi card. I'm thinking it would have to have mpeg (or mpg?) to do this. I've searched around and can't find any discussion on the subject.

Thanks

-Or else what?

Heck, you could capture all your songs in uncompressed WAV format and let Nero convert to CDA. I've converted mp3 to CDA and WAV to CDA.

Just capture what you want and break it up into individual songs so you can use the skip funtion.
