I own a Sony DVPCX995V 400-Disc DVD Mega Changer/Player (non-DLNA compatible) and want to start burning the DVD's stored in device to digital files. Is there a way to access the dvd's on device without having to remove from player and insert in dvd burner? Don't think setting up aa DLNA Server would help as there is no access to player externally other than ethernet port used to download dvd information from Gracenote database. Perhaps some kind of hack or external device?

BTW; Digital files will be stored on 9TB Netgear Readynas 104 which is DLNA compatible.

There is no computer interface that I can see in the manual. There is an HDMI out, but that would be HDCP.
I believe you will have to eject, read the disk on the PC and replace in the Sony.
