Does anyone know what the best DVD burning program is?

Really only 2 main commercial product lines out there for Windows, Nero and Roxio. Both have fans, pros, and cons. However, when it comes right down to it, they are very similar. You really can't go wrong with either product.

There are OEM versions of both products which have the basic burning software/utilities/apps included with them. These OEM versions are often bundled with new DVD RWs (any burner for that matter) and are included for no additional cost. Check with a local computer store who might be able to help you out.

I would strongly suggest you not download a pirated version from the 'Net. You put yourself at GREAT risk of infection of all sorts of nasties doing so.

BTW, if you are using Windows 7, it includes basic burning utilities in the OS itself. Search your help file for burning disks and you will be pointed in the right direction.

You could also use a Live version of Linux (like Ubuntu) and use one of the open source (free) burning apps.

Yes, there are free DVD/CD burning software. I use DeepBurner Free version and ImgBurn.
