burning smell coming from the cpu/cooler, but temps are normal. I did check the psu, but no burning smell. my pc is about 2 years old, any ideas?

What is your memory voltage?
Specs would be helpful.

my fault. a 6600k 16gigs of ram at 2600mhz, and a 1070.

yes,4.3, but again its running around 40 t0 55c under load. as I said the cpu/gpu temps are in safe ranges.

I wounder if I need to reapply thermal paste. I use my computer for both work and gamming, so I avrage 10+12 hours a day on it. (6 to 8ish for work) and about 3 to 5 for fun.
