Hi,
is this problem with one video only you trying with the different programs.
If so I have seen this type of problems when you are burning at a too high of a bit rate (anything over about 8.4 Mbps ) on some older dvd players and even some newer ones or if you use more then about 97% of the dvd disk space you can see this problem but only at the end of the video, say the last min or two.
I use Taiyo Yuden dvd-r's with great results as to videos failing and if I can't get them I use Verbatim Data Life dvd's.

hi i have tried taiyo yuden discs and verbatim disc I only burn at 4 speed and high quality encoding. I can burn a file to disc play it in a dvd player and it will pause then burn the same file again using the same conversion and it will play fine.. its different files im burning to just for some reason some times they come out no good when I play them on dvd players im starting to think its either a hardware problem ??

i have been getting this problem if burn a dvd using shrink or dvd copy pro the dvd plays fine on my dvd player stand alone one sony but my mates xbox 360 or his sony stand alone it skips and pauses and jumps etc i am trying to figure problem if i make a custom dvd one my own using x to dvd it plays fine on mine and my mates so theoretically it takes out the question of the type of dvd's blank i use i have ben using sony dvd -r or vebitim dvd -r but i hear it is better to use +r is this correct ?
it also puts my burner out as that burns fine so is it a windows problem as would like to get to bottom what is going on i never use to have this problem
