burnt image

I have an old philips crt model : 107s and is has a very persistant and noticable image at the bottom from having been left on with such an image for an extended time.

Is there a software that can clear this up?

Nope. That image is there to stay. It would probably cost more to fix it than to replace the monitor.

that`s what i was affraid of...but 17 inch crts are found in the trash these days
