Bad news. Got home yesterday after work. I went to get on my computer and no video! Did a little diagnosis and realized that the gpu (MSI1070 Gaming X) was not working opened up the computer and it was burnt to a crisp where the first couple of separated pins are. Which I believe to be ground and power are in this area. It even fried the PCI-e slot on the motherboard (MSI Z270 Gaming M5). Not usable at all. Does anyone no what would have caused this? And also how long does the standard MSI warranty cover,2yrs, 3yrs?? Will they even replace these? From anyone experience? Thanks for any info. I'm sad... also nothing was overclocked on my system at the time and running an EVGA super nova g2 650 PSU.

Getting mixed answers about the warranty length. Some places say three years, but MSI says two years (this was found after extensive searching). However, since it is burned MSI may just forget about the warranty because regardless it shouldn't be burnt

I would contact MSI and find out what to do, because I've never heard this happen before and it seems like the best thing to do. Please do keep us all here updated :)
