Burnt smell coming from the top of my case?

Hey guys,

So I was just relaxing and on the internet and I kept smelling a burnt smell, and then I see smoke coming out of the top of my case. I immediately powered the PC off, opened up the case, and there is no signs of anything being burnt. There was no fire or anything. I have cleared dust out to my best extent. I still smell it, any advice?

Go over your wiring. Something was shorting out. It is not safe to use until you track it down.

Also check your temps (well, not something you can do before you check for a short), my PC smells funny at high temps, when I put my nose right on an exhaust fan anyways.
