Mostly running EPIC and watching movies

Looking at Lenovo ThinkPad x1 carbon gen 10 and slim 9i. Like the XPS15 but unsure if the quality control issues from last year are still there. Open to other brands though

Good keyboard, screen, and thin are the main priorities
 
The thinkpad units will have excellent keyboards.
The X1 carbon gen 10 is a good choice.

Go to the Lenovo site and shop.
You might be interested in the new gen 4 with a nice default 16" screen.

Lenovo has sales all the time.
It might be good to give them a call and let one of the sales people point you to the better values.
The upcharge for more ram and drive capacity can be steep.
If you are capable, you can buy those upgrades for half the price.
Look at a review of any unit you are interested in. They will confirm what user upgrades are possible.
 
I've heard good things about the Lenovo x1 carbon range. The XPS 15 is also a good choice as my sister used one for work and didn't have any problems. Could you give me links to the websites you buy laptops from?
