i have tried to download the ethernet adapters on my laptop and put them on a flash drive and then download them to my desk top. but i am not having any luck with out internet on my desk top. please help. i have windows 7 64bit
That's not true. I've built multiple rigs and put them together by downloading drivers on a separate PC and then transferring them via USB without ever touching the disks. At the very least, rear panel USB ports have their own basic drivers that Windows recognizes. It'll work.
It should be easy. Just download the drivers onto your laptop, put them on a USB as you said, and then put those onto your desktop. You don't need any internet access on your desktop to transfer things via USB/flash drive.
