Buy a motherboard or wait for DDR4?

My current PC
EVGA GTX 670 FTW 4gb
I5 4440 stock cooler
8gb Ram @ 1600 4*2

I want to SLI my GPU but I would need a new Motherboard. I was wondering if I get a new Mb that when DDR4 comes out will it still run games with no performance hit? Kind of like when DDR3 came out, if you kept using DDR2 in games would you see a low frame rate or will it be just a little slower when just doing stuff on the desktop.

Broadwell may keep or not keep lga 1150. IS your performance that bad with that card right now. I also think the price premium will make ddr4 not worth wild to wait for.

If you want DDR4, you will be waiting until next summer for consumer grade access and prices.
