Question buy a new card now? or wait?

I was considering buying the 4090. is it worth buying now? or would i be better served waiting for the next gen of cards at this point?

I would assume that we won't see a 4090 replacement until the middle/end of next year. So it really comes down to what you have now and what you're planning on doing with the card. Personally I'd consider it to be the first true 4k video card as it can handle everything on the market and what's on the horizon with fairly high frame rates.

if you're looking at the 4090, then no reason to wait. won't be a replacement for a long time nor anything to compete with it anytime soon.

not like there's gonna be a sale on it or anything. you're paying a ton for it and there's no reason for nvidia to drop the price. click buy and then sit back and enjoy
