Buy GTX 1050 ti(expensive) now or wait for 11 or price drop

I was about to buy Msi GTX 1050 ti ocv1 for 13400 INR (194.86 usd) but didn't because last year it was 11000 INR (159.42 usd). So, as gamescom is coming on aug21 and Nvidia might anounce 11 series... Do u think prices will drop for GTX 1050 ti at the end of August here in India. Or should I wait for 11series but still 1150 might release in Jan if 1180 is announced in August.
Any Suggestions will be very appreciated.

BTW MY SPEC ARE:
I5 4460 @ 3.4GHZ
CORSAIR VENGEANCE 8GB RAM
CORSAIR VS450 PSU

They will most likely only introduce the high-end cards first for the first several months. Probably won't be anything new to compete against the current 1050ti until at least Christmas. (Unless AMD releases something new)

Agreed. Only the GTX750Ti and GTX750 broke the pattern by being the first Maxwell cards on the market, but still using the 28nm process node. All the 900 series Maxwell cards were built with 16nm process.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with any of the fabs at this time. So that probably won't happen again.

Rumor is they may drop about 10-15% in the next 4 weeks but again, that's just a rumor. Other than that, the only person that can answer whether you should wait any longer (or not) is you.

TBH I can wait till gamescom or till August end.. then I can buy in starting September but again I might stll be buying it expensive if prices actually drop at start of 4th quarter instead of next month..🙁
What do u suggest?

I honestly don't think anything in the 1050ti market/performance is coming out til the end of the year.

What games are you looking to play with it?

Let's just say that it does drop 10%

194 USD / 10% = 19 dollars

It's up to you if it's worth waiting to possibly save 19 dollars

19 usd is almost 1300 INR which makes a difference in India and last year it was almost 2400 INR less which is worth saving...
For me if it's only 19 usd less it's still worth saving as it's only 2months and no new good games are coming and they usually release 4th quarter or in 1st quarter... Yes I play aaa games... I have sold my GTX 650 1gb which was still serving me well but 1gb was giving it hell running new open world games.. GTX 1050 ti will serve me more years than GTX 650 as I game on 1366X768 monitor and GTX 1050 ti is meant for 1080p..
So I m only asking do budget card prices really drop when newer top card(gtx1180) are announced?
