Buy GTX 1080ti now or wait for GTC (march end2018)

Hey guys. With the gtx 1070 im getting around 60 to 80fps in most of the games in the AOC Ag241qx (1440p 144hz )monitor. so, what should i do .stick with it for few months and see what nvidia gonna offer for their next gpu lineup,probably the Ampere or someother architectuer or just buy the gtx 1080ti now ? BTW Vega 64 costs more than gtx 1080ti here 😛 so no way i buy that . Very Interested to know what you guys think . Thanks

My less than professional opinion would be to hang on until the next Nvidia release since it is so close (we think). The strides that Nvidia has been making over the last few generations would indicate another major increase is in the works. Of course, expect to pay top dollar for being an early buyer.

Okay thanks. I hope so. But the titan version doesn't offers much performance improvement over the gtx 1080ti/titan. May be they make some changes in ampere but the improvements won't be much better I guess
