Question Buy i9 9900k or wait for Ryzen 3rd Gen ?

Hey, everyone, I'm kind of in a situation and I would really appreciate all of your expert opinions.

Currently what I'm planning to get
CPU : i9 9900k
CPU Cooler : Corsair - H150i PRO
Mobo : Asus - ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO
Ram : G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (will upgrade to 32 later on)
M.2 : Samsung 970 Pro (Already have HDDs)
GPU : RTX 2070
PSU : 1000w

Now my only question should I wait for 3rd gen Ryzen ? My mostly use of this PC will be doing Ps+Ae+Ai+Pr and Gaming. I'm fine with 1440p and my main motive is to preserve this build for few yrs atleast and upgrade part by part when it's required.

Any suggestion or correction on the current build is really welcomed.

Yeah I was wondering the same. Is it worth getting the x570 boards or stick with x470 ? Cause I know it will be really pricy during its launch.

If you don't need guaranteed PCIe 4.0 from the CPU nor 4.0 lanes from the chipset, then there is no point in worrying about the x570.

Doesn't make much of a difference to me since I have no plan to upgrade to Ryzen 3k until B5xx boards are out, assuming 3600 reviews are good enough to actually make me want to upgrade. (Though AMD saying it was a challenge to shoehorn chiplets into AM4 makes me want to skip to AM5 to get a socket designed for chiplets from the start.)
