Hello,

I am thinking about buying the Lenovo y700 from Newegg (Link Here) and I was wondering if there were any other options at around the same price and quality. I looked around on Newegg and all the other things I saw were either too expensive, had some poor quality parts, or were missing features.

Thanks.

The asus GL552VW, I linked newegg just for reference, no idea where you are buying it from, but the specs are superb. Unlike the Lenovos and Acers, this one has a Type-C usb and 7200RPM hdd (the others come with no usb type-c and 5400RPM hdds), also the sound and screen are superb. The backlit keyboard is great as well. Only issues I have with it is that I have to clean the panel all the time because you can literally see the fingerprints, pretty sure it will be the same with the lenovo and acer however. Also I am not an Asus fanboy. I have the Lenovo y570 (4 generations before the lenovo y700), but back then the lenovos were 100$...

I've looked around, and it seems like the Asus has more build quality and stability issues.
