Buy now or wait for Vega/Pascal Refresh?

I was about to buy a 1070 (up from a 770 2Gb). Should I wait? When should I wait until? Is Nvidia really going to release a new batch of cards early next year? Is Vega really going to dominate?

Basically I'm worried I'll get a 1070 and in 6 months it'll be worthless. Love your thoughts.

Its a long wait at this point. I would just get a 1070 and enjoy it. It wont be worthless in 6 months.

New cards keep coming and you will keep on waiting?? its a long way from release right now...my policy has always been get one the latest cards...utilize it to the max (ultra now...high next few years...medium for some more years...low for further more years...then when you cant run latest games even on low...get a new card

in 6 month time after vega we might see nvidia volta. so when that time arrive will you waiting for volta and keep using your 770?
