Buy parts in America

Hey guys im going to be in Los Angeles in a few months so i thought that ill just get new parts there whilst im there and i was think of getting the FX 8320 upgrading from FX6100 and getting a new graphics cards a GTX 660 and also a new power supply a EVGA supernova 750w where will be good place to buy them inside a store not online only there for few weeks and could i use a power supply from America in Australia.

Microcenter and frys are probably it. Not many good brick and mortar component shops around. You may not be able to find extremely specific parts, like they may not have the EVGA exact one you want, but maybe they have a nice Antec isntead, etc.

Although be prepared for 9% sales tax at the register and baggage fees to fly it home. .
