buy PC or wait

I could buy the pc (£1000) and a cheap monitor for around £30 or less of eBay so I can use it in the summer holidays and play with friends on the cheap monitor, one is moving so can't play with him after the holidays. I have a macbook pro which is fine at the moment for playing with them. I would then get a proper gaming monitor after the holidays (getting one with g-sync and it will be around £300-400 so would have to wait whole holidays).

Or should I wait and get it fully complete with a proper gaming monitor after the holidays and use my macbook pro over the holidays.

Is it worth getting it early with a really bad cheap monitor so I can play over the holidays when I can play on a macbook just fine at the moment.

I would sell the macbook ,
Then get the PC and good monitor if possible.if not get a cheap one and save up

This is a good idea but would not be possible as I use the mac in school but I will buy the cheap one and save up
