Hi guys,i have finally collected enough money to upgrade this stupid q9400 and stupid 3 gb of ram.So i have a simple question, should i wait for ryzen 2 release or buy now ryzen 1600?I mean, when ryzen 2600 comes out, will the price of 1600 goes a little down(like from 160 to maybe 140dollars).And also,i dont know should i wait for x470 motherboard or not? Will they release mobo and cpu at the same time or not?Mobo im looking for is asus strix x370-f or i should wait for x470-f to comes out?Games im going to play are witcher 3,bf1(online) and fortnite.Btw will i get 60fps on withcer and bf on very high/ultra settings with rx 570 ?

Zen+ chips will be rolling out later this month. If you can wait just a bit longer I think you'll be rewarding yourself with the latest from AMD!

As for will you get ultra setting 60fps in Witcher, that will depend on what resolution at which you play.

New motherboard and CPU will require you to purchase another license for Windows as well unless you have a Retail Copy.
Which version of Windows do you currently have?
I'm asking because 3 GB RAM usually means you are using a 32-bit OS.
Don't forget to add RAM in to your costs.

I will get 8gb ofc.For some reason i have 64bit windows(i dont have a idea why i put that on 3 gb but nevermind).I can wait, im not in hurry just bcs i dont want to fck up school. And about resolution 1920 1080.So i will just wait for 2600 to release and lower price of 1600(i think 2600 is a little overkill for rx570).But what about x470 mobo, when will mobo come out?I cant fiind any release date of mobo

I forgot one more question. What do you think about this plan. Should i buy r5 1600 and x370 f strix, ram and then when intel 9th gen comes out i sell mobo and cpu and buy i5 9600k and mobo?Or this is just too stupid?I know that if i buy K version of intel i wont have to upgrade for next 3 or 4 generations.

The 2600-2700X will be out 19 Apr, presumably with X470 MBs in tow....

Again...which version of Windows do you have?

Buy now.
(And I dont regret buying my 1800X for US$500)

In your case, Ryzen 1st gen already has stable BIOSes and boards available.

Waiting may be an endless game, there will always be something better around the corner. Buy into the best deal today and enjoy your game.

Ryzen 1600 starter pack:
(Stock cooler included)
X370 board (can go Prime X370 to save some money also)

1.35000V, 3.8 GHz. Would definitely give a good starting point for further overclocking.
