[SOLVED] Buying a 1060 laptop, is it worth it? 2000 series is coming

honestly, I dont think you will feel MUCH of a difference from the 1060 to the 2060 because if you actually play any rtx games, turning rtx on with anything but an adequately cooled 2080 or higher on a nice 1440p or 1080 144hz display would be awful. if you really want to buy a 20 (sorta) series, wait around a lil more and get the rumored gtx 1660/1160/2060 (GTX not RTX) as it will probably be heaps cheaper and deliver similar enough performance on a lower price tag making it worth more. but if you intend to buy now, I would get a 1070 max q or a full on 1070 as they'll be similar to a laptop 2060 and probably still cheaper as theyre outdated now
