I am going to buy a Asus GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming OC card ( thought i'd include the whole name )
But I am worried if I will encounter some issues on the installment, never done it before.

1. Mainly the case and motherboard worries me;

NZXT H440 New Edition Silent Ultra - case.
ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VIII HERO - Motherboard

- Will they fit with the card?

2. Will I run into bottlenecking? I play on 1440P

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K Skylake Prosessor
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 2666MHz 32GB
750W PSU.

I'm using a 3080 with an older 4790K for 1440P gaming and its been fine so far. Playing Valhalla at Ultra and getting 80fps in the benchmark. As far as will the card fit. Looks like you can fit a 294mm(11.5) inches if you have the HDD cages in. That will fit some of the 3080s like the PNY card I have and the founders edition. Of course if you have no cage then you can use anything. Just need some slots open next to the gpu obviously on the MB.

There really isn’t anything on the same socket that is worth upgrading to. You would be looking at a new motherboard and cpu at least.

There will be games that are held back by the cpu, 4 core 8 thread is fairly entry level these days in modern AAA games.
Yea, I notice them even with the 1080 card, wildy cpu specific games out there.

an i5 10400f and a H410/B460 (4slots of ram)
or a z490 motherboard and i510600K

or Ryzen 5 3600/5600x and a B550 motherboard
Thanks, ill look into those after the installment and if my satisfaction is good enough with only gpu upgrade. Opened up Immortals Fenyx Rising today, which to my mind would run flawlessly 100 fps ( according to art style ) but i had to nerf the graphics to get stable 60 fps. I figured its time for upgrade lol

Usually you can remove the cages. I'm not familiar with your case.
