Question Buying a amazon refurbished graphics card

I want to upgrade my graphics card from a gtx 1060 to one of the rtx cards I have been looking on amazon and they have refurbished cards. Does anyone have any experience on buying refurbished cards from amazon is it a risk or not? I have purchased "Renewed" products and most of the times is a returned open box item. Sometimes is a refurbished unit.
In some rare cases it could be a used item.
You will have to take a chance...at least you have sometime to return it.
