Well I got myself into a pickle. I bought a b450m DS3H for my girlfriend and a R5 3400g. System does not post. Slightly misleadingly Gigabytes website states this mobo is Ryzen 3000 ready. However the mobo box says Ryzen 2000 ready. Only way you find out is if you try right? So I slapped everything together and no cigar. Since it is the weekend I am now faced with the delema of waiting for AMD to get back to me about their loaner APU, waiting for Gigabyte to get back to me about doing the bios updates themselves, or just going to micro center and buying a 200ge since it is the cheapest comparable APU to update the bios myself. If this mobo has the F1 bios, 7 consecutive bios flashes are needed to get the system ryzen 3000 ready, and 10 total to get the most current bios.

OMG need coffee...

If the box had the labeling for Ryzen 3000 series ready, then the board came with the BIOS necessary for Ryzen 3000. Why don't you just pick up an MSI B450 Max series baord? It comes with the necessary BIOS update for Ryzen 3000.

The Gigabyte website states 3000 ready for the mobo however, I purchased through Amazon, and when I got it the box it states 2000 ready. Its a micro build for general purpose for my girlfriend, and the components are already bought.
