Buying a i5 2400 with a gtx 750 ti hp 8200 or dell 790?

So this is a pretty easy question yet i do not know the difference.I am about to buy a pc with those specs and i have 2 options hp or dell.Same price yet i do not know what to get.The only difference i think is in the motherboards so if u have any experience feel free to share ur opinions

Depends on the model. Desktop, mini tower, small form factor? Normally I would lean towards Dell. This for gaming?

They are pretty similar. I had the Optiplex 790 SFF myself for awhile. Put a GTX 1050 Ti L-P card in it.
It is a tossup, really. Condition of the PCs, power supply specs make a difference. The 240W PSU in the 790 handles a GTX 1005 Ti, so I suppose knowing that, I'd go with the 790 in case you ever want to upgrade the GPU.

Well i guess the dell 790 it is so the pcie 16x gies out 75W? since u used it with a 1050 and btw i dont think a 1050 is in my range i'd rather buy a 750ti for now and maybe in the future i'll go for the 1050 .So i need to look for a sf 750 ti i found 1 of zotac so yeah

Yes, the PCIe x16 slot is capable of providing a full 75W. My 1050 Ti used every bit of that when peaked out. Does the GTX 750 Ti come with the PC already, or is that something you're going to add?

No i'm going to buy it seperatelly the dell comes with 250GB HDD 4gb or ddr3 i5 2400,The hdd and ram i will upgrade later on but i'm going to add it seperately so if there is something u want to advise me to i'm listening.

Sounds like how I bought mine. Same components. First thing is the gfx card, so you're on the right track there. In fact if I remember correctly, my first card was the low profile GTX 750 Ti just like you're doing. I went with 8GB RAM next followed by replacing the HDD with a SSD. Finally I upgraded the 750 Ti to the 1050 Ti. After the 1050 Ti, it was a real decent 1080p gamer.

This was with the GTX 750 Ti.

Well it seems like i might get the 1050 too since i found it for like 20$ more than the 750ti idk how and why but i might get it btw i just noticed the dell is packed does it even have room for air in there

If you're looking at my photos, it does appear that way. But I never had any heat issues during normal gaming. Leaving the cover off during gaming would help if you're worried. This is the one I had. It's all heat sink!

Well now i see a lot of threads saying that the dell 790 sff pciex only provides 35W and that there are better options like the normal verssion or a dell 3010..I rly dont know what to get.I made a mistake a year ago buying the awfull 7800 dc sff hp.
