I am planning to buy the following hardware for a new gaming PC:
Ryzen 5600x
Asus b550 TUF-Wifi
Corsair vengeance 16 GB ram RGB
RTX 3060ti
Gigabyte C200G case
Cooler Master MWE V750 PSU

My main issue is the GPU
the 3060ti has 8GB VRAM, but the 3060 has 12 GB VRAM.
shall i go for the ti version or the non-ti version?
What about the motherboard? I've read that it has average power ratings. I m not much into overclocking, but if i want to, will it limit me?
Also, is the cooler master PSU, which i have listed, any good ? Is it stable, especially for gaming ?

Solution
Go with the 3060ti it is a miniature powerhouse compared to 3060. The motherboard is a mid tier board and is fully capable of overclocking your cpu. I would go with this psu. Cooler Master MWE 750W Gold

"Cooler Master MWE 750W Gold – Best Reliable 750W PSU. Cooler Master a well renowned brand, is contributing to the PSUs since years with absolute masterpieces." I do.

TLDR: Rated "meh". Very much not a masterpiece, and certainly not worth the price when actual good PSUs are the same cost.

750w is absurd for this build, OP you can get Corsair RM650x, Corsair TX650M, Seasonic Focus GX650, SGX-650, GM-650, or PX-650 depending on the deal you can get and your budget.

I own a 3060. I have to say that I've heard that the 12gb vram isn't taken advantage of in the normal 3060. Just go for the 3060ti. 3060 is good but the ti is 100% better.

What about the motherboard and GPU?
Are they OK choices or should i consider changing them?

I agree on the above recommendations of the 3060ti. The motherboard is fine as well. ASUS pissed me off in the past, but there is nothing wrong with that board. If you wanted to overclock heavily there are better choices, but if you're not then it should service you for many years.

I agree that 750w is more than you need, but if the price is close, it doesn't hurt to get the higher wattage version, for future upgrade headroom. A little something I put together, in an attempt to meet your budget, minus the GPU.
