Buying a new GPU & Ram for Asus P5KC motherboard, Can someone check compatibility?

Hello, I am looking for a GPU and RAM upgrade for my pc. It has an Asus P5KC motherboard and core2quad 2.4ghz (q6600) cpu. I was thinking of buying 2x4gb Ram units, and a GPU for about 250 dollars, but I have no idea if those GPU's are compatible with my motherboard. As far as I found out myself, any 8gb ram will work on it right? And about GPU, I have been looking for something like these here,

"Zotac GeForce GTX 960, 2GB, GDDR5, AMP"
"EVGA GeForce GTX 960, 2GB, GDDR5, SuperSC ACX 2.0+"
"Sapphire Radeon R9 270X, 2GB, GDDR5, Toxic"

So, would everything work together if i brought 8gb ram and one of these graphic cards?

just letting you know 2 x DIMM, DDR3 1333 is highest you can go. So 2 ram with speed of 1333 no higher then 1333

yes it would work you are going to put the graphics card in the BLUE PCI express slot. you have PCI 2.0's and the cards are 3.0's and they will work but not full performance. And Stay away from overclocking the cards.

What kind of Power supply do you have if you don't mind me asking.

And about the ram, I am looking at these 2 modules. And if I understand what you mean about the 1333mhz's, these are compatible?

About the graphics cards. i personally would not put a graphics card on a 400W power supply. it would be 500W or greater.

but with that power supply you can only get the Zotac GeForce GTX 960, 2GB, GDDR5, AMP because it has a 6 pin connecter and the EVGA GeForce GTX 960 is a 8 pin connector and your power supply does not have that.

and for the Sapphire Radeon R9 270X, 2GB, GDDR5, Toxic you will need a 500W power supply or a 450W 80 plus gold certified PSU <-- i mean you can get this card but you will be under powering it and it will damage the card.

you can use it. it wont affect it that much maybe 10fps not much

Loss of 10 fps is quite significant, but if it cheaper than buying a new motherboard then that is fine. And one last question, will that damage the GPU if I use incompatible motherboard with it?

you can use a 3.0 graphics card on a 2.0 but you are just not going to get full performance out of the card. maybe like 80-85% of performance only. and do not overclock.

the Zotac GeForce GTX 960, 2GB, GDDR5, AMP is a bad ass card i would go with this.

Hello again, I ran in some doubtful situation. I do not know if those sites are correct but here is the issue.

I found a site called Game-Debate, and it is possible to build virtually the pc and then check how well the pc will perform on some of the games. So I went ahead and I "built" the pc with the parts we talked about here. And for example I took a game called Fallout 4. It supposedly shows that I will be able run the game with recommended settings just fine. So far so good, but when I click the "Can I run this game" Thing, and type in only my GPU & CPU, it begins to claim that my GPU will be -64% for the game, due to bottle-necking. Do you know why is that and if that is correct?
