Buying A New Graphic Card?

Hi, my computer is from Acer. Model : Aspire M7720

I am planning on buying a new graphic card to replace the one which is inside.

However, i need some suggestions on a new card.

My specs are below...

Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit.

Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 ghz.

Nvidia GT 130 @ 1.5 GB dedicated memory.

750 GB SATA hard drive.

23 inch monitor, 1920 X 1080 resolution.

6 GB DDR3 1333 MHZ Ram + 2 GB DDR3 1066 MHZ RAM.

450 - 500 watts power supply unit.

Mobo : Not sure.

I know i have the extra 2 gb ram (kingston)

So, if i want to sell my extra 2 gb ram and my gt 130, how much can they fetch?

I know the PSU has low watts, planning on changing it too.

I saw a ATI card which is quite cheap, 5670, is it good?

Pick your budget. Keep in mind that your budget may need to include a PSU upgrade.

5670 won't be giving you good 1080p performance, you'll want something much stronger.

you need something more powerful then a 5670, and considering once Dx 11 games come out that will slow it down even further. i would go for at least a 5770 if you want something equal to the rest of your system. or you go for the Ati 4000 series which has better performance/price wise but is older. maybe the 4870 or 4890. also what games are you planning on playing?
