So is having a micron memory still an issue these days
i want to buy this zotac gpu (indonesian site) https://www.tokopedia.com/tokoexpert/zotac-gtx-1050-ti-oc-4gb-ddr5-dual-fan-oc-edition
its around 170 usd cheapest for a TI i think?
also saw a manli and inno3d non oc and one fan only on the inno3d for 5 dollar cheaper
but i never heard of both brands so idk

would appreciate if you have a equivalent amd gpu which might be cheaper to recommend me

not planning to oc or anything just stock speeds
these are the specs

Solution
so i've looked into the prices and clock speed it seems that the 1050 ti runs at faster clock speed?

1050
Engine Clock
Base: 1392 MHz
Boost:1506 MHz

rx 570
Engine Clock
1266 MHz (OC Mode)
1256 MHz (Gaming Mode)

rx 570 "strix"

Engine Clock
1310 MHz (OC Mode)
1300 MHz (Gaming Mode)

not sure what strix is but it has ~50 mhz faster clock speed than normal 570 but also cost like 25 bucks more

not sure as where to look in terms of specs to compare between gpu's, maybe u have more knowledge as to why the rx run much faster

So the big difference is the amount of cores each gpu has, nVidia call these 'cuda cores' and AMD use the term 'stream processors' but essentially that is the part of the gpu that does the work.

The 1050ti...

I've not heard of any problems with micron memory recently... as for the GPU, the AMD RX 570 can be had for similar money to a 1050ti and it is much faster. The only thing you need to consider with the RX 570 is it uses more power so does need a stronger power supply. What PSU do you have? If you can power it though, that's the card to buy.

The 1050ti gpu has 768 cuda cores (that is the same for all 1050ti cards, only difference is clock speed).

The RX570 has 2048 stream processors. Whilst the cores in the two designs aren't exactly the same (nVidia tends to need less cores for given performance), the 2048 stream processors in the RX570 are much more powerful than the 768 in the 1050ti, even though the clock speed on the 1050ti is higher.

Here is a comparison of the two, in games the RX570 is 60% faster than the 1050ti
