Buying a new laptop for school, need suggestions.

I am currently in the market to purchase a laptop for school. I currently do not have a home PC or Laptop. I have searched a few sites (Newegg, cyberpower, MSI, walmart) and it all, is a bit overwhelming. All i need is for the laptop to support Windows 10, Adobe apps, and microsoft office apps. Could someone give me a good starting point? Any help would be appreciated.

Would you prefer big or small screens?

I think a 15" would tickle my fancy. 17" seems a little big bit to carry in a backpack or side bag.

Get at least 8GB of memory. And plan to replace the HDD with an SSD.

Try the Surface Pro. As a student I use it. it can run most of my apps like photoshop.

I have Dell XPS 14z and it's not very expensive laptop nice slim laptop and dual graphics Nvidia and Intel. And on this laptop, I'm working many heavy apps like Photoshop, and also perfectly working Maya app. I think you have check this laptop is the good laptop for you and you can carry this laptop easily because its not heavy laptop its slim and normal laptop.
