Hey everyone,
I need a great laptop, basically a portable desktop as powerful as I can get it. I am 3D Modelling, video editing , Photoshop, no gaming, etc. Zbrush, 3DS Max, and Maya are hugely demanding softwares. I don't know much about computers, but apparently CPU, RAM and the graphics card will be the most important in my case.? I'd like to know if this build will smoothly run my softwares and render images/animations really QUICK! Thanks :)
EDIT - just another thing. Im building my laptop through pc specialist, i'm customizing everything to the highest, will the laptop even be able to take it, obliviously on paper it looks great, but will all these parts be compatible?? will everything overheat?

Solution
That will be very good and should be able to handle the things you have said. The only thing I am worried is the desktop cpu in a 15 inch laptop. I am not sure how good the cooling is and if the laptop will overheat. And if you are doing this professionally and money isn't a problem, you may want to go for a quadrino gpu rather than a geforce gpu as these are build for the things you have said.
