Right now, I have a pentium e5300 dual core processor, gt1030 2gb. Im planing to buy a processor , ryzen 5 2400g. It has a build in intergrated graphics card rx vega 11 which is better that the graphic card I have right now, gt1030. Should I sell my graphic card or use it??

Solution
You buy an APU because you like the included graphics and have no plans for a discrete graphics card upgrade.
In such a case, you would be better off spending on a stronger cpu in the first place.

You know, of course that you also need to buy a new motherboard and DDR4 ram.

If budget is an issue, consider a intel G5400, a B110 motherboard and 2 x 4gb of ddr4 ram. It should cost about $200.

Your dual thread E5300 has a passmark rating of 1540; that is when all threads are fully used.
It has a single thread rating of 1050. That is what most games depend on.

The 8 thread ryzen 2400G would be a nice improvement. Passmark is 9289 and 1919 single thread.
A very good choice if you will also be running multithreaded apps.
For games, not...
the important thing to remember is even though it has a Vega graphics core it does not have its own dedicated vram so it will take up some of your ram to use for it. it would be best to keep your 1030 because it has its own vram and most likely has more vram then what the vega core will end up using

For games, not so much. Few games can effectively use more than 2-3 threads.

That is why I suggested the 4 thread G5400 with a passmark rating of 5251 and a single thread rating of 2203.

Your 1030, assuming it's the DDR5 version, is better than the Ryzen graphics. So there's no reason to pick the 2400g just for the graphics.

You could go with a 1400, 4 cores/8 threads, if money is tight. Or you could go for something like a 1600 or 2600 if you can spend a bit more. Of course even with a 1400 your 1030 will be limiting game performance at 1080p in some games. Depending on what you play and how willing you are to compromise on settings or framerate, this may not be a problem.
