buying a new xbox 360 question

Hi there,
I have a question that I need help with. Does the 360 come with a standard to high definition switch? any help is greatly appreaciated..Thanks in advance

After reviewing the Xbox website, it appears that the 3 now just comes with a standard 'Composite A/V Cable 3.5MM' - Which means that they probably are trying to force gamer's into purchasing an HDMI cable.

the reason why I am asking is that I think I have a standard definition tv .It supports hdmi though .if I have hdmi does that Mean that I have high definition...also thanks for the reply

Any! Gold plated is recommended - but if your on a budget any will work.
