Buying a used Graphics Card - ASUS GTX 1070 Turbo

Can you take a look at this image and let me know if I should be concerned about this raised silver part? Was it overheating and expanding?

Don't know if you noticed but it was actually the paper that said the guy's name and time stamp. No worries. That was a perfectly normal PCB. Although if you buy it heat might be an issue. Blower style GPU's tend to run hot, either FE, an AMD-blower style card or an AIB blower style card. What's the price the guy is selling that for?

Thats just the pcb, and the bit behind is the paper..

I don’t think that’s the card, just ask the guy for more pictures if you’re concerned about this issue.

Yup, you guys are right, it's the paper behind it, talk about paranoid...

He is selling it for $400, pretty good deal IMO.

You'll want a silent case to run an asus turbo , they have the most annoying whine on the fan (even at low rpm) that I have ever heard.

I had one , it lasted a whole 3 weeks in my rig before I got rid!
