Hello everyone!

Long story short, I have someone offering to sell me this PC for $425 and I was wondering if its a good deal?

Case - Thermaltake Black Japanese LANBOX Lite
Motherboard - MSI P55M-GD45 LGA 1156 Intel P55
CPU - Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156
Video Card - MSI R5770 Hawk Radeon HD 5770 1GB
RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (4 x 2GB)
OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Hard Drive - Western Digital 640GB
DVD Drive - Samsung DVD Burner 24x

I was originally looking to build the following i3 2220 based system for just over $600:

CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock H77 Pro4/MVP ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB Video Card
Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Antec High Current Gamer 400W
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

OS - NOT INCLUDED

Im hoping someone can give me some perspective on the disparities between the 2 builds and which is the better deal in terms of mid range gaming.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

What is the power supply on the first build? Its a solid build, but what games are you looking to play?

Pretty sure you can overclock that processor as well on the first one.

Also, in the second one, that power supply would barely be enough to drive that card.

The first build is guaranteed to work fine so I didnt list the power supply for it.

Im looking to play just about any modern game with medium to high settings.

For the second build Ive already found a new 700 watt PSU.

My question still stands, which build is better??
