Buying and recieving games

Do websites like steam deal with customers using bank accounts to buy recieve games, what are the websites that use bank accounts, do game developers give us games on CDs, usb drive or a directly through the internet?

I use my debit card to buy stuff on steam, I dont think you can link a bank account to steam. You could link a bank account to pay pal then buy stuff on steam with pay pal if you wanted.

I download all my games from the internet, thats how steam works there is no physical disc or usb drive. Though many games you can still buy physically if you want, just not on steam.

digital sites like steam keep you game in 'the cloud', and you need an internet connection to install any game bought (no hard copy will be sent)

this begs the question ... for an offline game, and a new pc ... if you didnt have internet you would NOT have access to the game unless you still possessed your old pc (where it was initially installed to). not really a problem for the majority of us, but in some parts of the world and budgets it could be.

Ok, that's better than cracking them using torrent, and cracked games don't recieve any neccessary updates to improve them. so pc benchmarking just when games and the other software are genuine. by the event, does steam offer an online shopping app?

Not to mention that when you pirate games, you are not supporting the developer(+ it's illegal). You don't get any updates, can't play online, and risk getting malware/virus infections.

steam only offers online games/programs and some virtual goods. there are sometimes game controller offers

I think paypal can help buying any item from any site in any way I like, bank accounts and credit cards, even if some payment methods are not supported by the site.
