Buying first pc advice $930 budget

Okay so this is what I'm looking at.

Base total - $929

Changes -

CPU – Pentium G3258 (Cheaper, same gaming performance as i3)
HDD – WD blue 1tb (cheaper, same performance)
Case – Coolermaster N300 (cheaper)
Graphics – ASUS R9 270 (much faster)
Power – FSP Raider 550w SILVER

New total – $875

Should I be concerned with upgrading the ram to 8gb? (Single or dual 4gb)

P.s I'm on budget. Not to concerned with loading times so SSD not concerned.

get 8GB of RAM and an SSD

G3258 is only better when you OC it. To OC it you will need a Z series motherboard. Also, 8 series motherboards need a BIOS update before they will run the g3258. So you need a Z97 board, an that would be more expensive than an i3.

If it's for games then your GPU should be around 1/3 of your total budget
