Buying from GMG when on other region

Hello,
currently visiting India and the prices are shown in RS currency (living in Israel and prices are usually in usd), will it work on my uplay\steam user?

Contacted gmg support, though they can't guarantee anything.. has anyone tried it before? buying when visiting other country
