There is no scenario in which a 7500 outperforms a 4790k. You are aware you can't oc on your board, but sometimes the faster speeds of the k series are worth it.

Depends on the title and your resolution/settings. No latest gen cpu always bottlnecks a GPU and no GPU always bottlneck a cpu. But one or the other happens in all cases. Bottlneck is such a horribly misused and misunderstood word. What I think you mean by bottlneck, no it won't.

Your monitor can only display 60 fps. The 4790 is plenty capable of that, and by the time the 4790 is too slow that few hundred MHz won't matter. No matter if I went with a 4790 or 4790k I'd probably buy used at this point. The price has dropped enough it's probably worth it.

I would get off of that platform and jump on ryzen, for the same price you could have a sweet 1600 build.
Both the intell platforms are dead at least ryzen 2 and 3 will also be in the am4 platform

You can get a 4790k on eBay for less than a 1600+ a board much less new ram to go with it. And the number of games a 1600 beats a 4790k is like 4 and not by much then. If he was building new I agree at this moment Intel only makes sense in builds under $600 and over $2000
