Well just found out why my memory hasn't been shipped yet, it wasn't even in stock on the site I ordered it from said it was in stock and never received a message for the delay. So I canceled my order and now looking to order memory again from a different site, preferably from Amazon this time. Anyway before I buy I am asking for suggestions, here is my current build:

PSU: XFX ProSeries Core Edition P1550SXXB9 550W 80Plus Bronze
CPU: Xeon Quad-Core Processor E3-1230V2 3.3GHz 5.0GT/s 8MB LGA 1155
Motherboard: ASRock LGA1155/Intel Z75/DDR3 Motherboard Z75 PRO3

I would like to get 16GB of memory, can you recommend high end memory to get that will work best for heavy duty tasks such as gaming and heavy app development? I was thinking of getting 32GB but this might be overkill?

32 GB won't work if your only using Windows 7 Home. Just FYI the limit for the OS is 16 GB.

Check your mother boards CVL list. It's a list of all of the memory that is tested and proven to work with that board.

You want 1.5v 1600 mhz. A higher mhz won't do any good.

Yeah this was the memory I originally ordered:

G.SKILL F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL Ripjaws X 16GB 2X8GB Kits 240PIN DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

I guess I will just re-order it but from a more reliable online store.
