I'm tossing and turning between these two:

I currently have an LG 4k 42 inch TV as a desktop monitor paired with a GTX 970 and amd 8350. I naively thought this combination would work well for desktop tasks but there's too much micro stutter. and gaming performance is poor even when at 1080p i guess because of all th extra desktop pixels...
So i'm surprisingly buying my first ever monitor. I don't have a huge amount of space and not a huge amount of budget either, so i i'm leaning towards the 25 inch because of the great price and I do have the large TV if I need to do some tasks that require more screen space. I just think £100 is a lot for what you get extra with the 29. But maybe im just cheap.
I'd like to get some suggestions on what I should buy.
Oh and by the way the monitor would literally be right next to me on my bedside table. Thanks.
