The games i want to play are Apex legends, Valorant and Warzone. I have selected some parts and wanted to know if they would be good enough to run these games at a good fps and if there are any issues. Also any ways i could potential cut corners without impacting performance. Any input is appreciated as I am a novice

Solution
A very high end cpu paired with an entry level gpu seems odd. The 9900k needs a much better cooler, if going with an AIO then minimum of 240mm. You want an SSD even if just for Windows. You should be spending twice as much on a higher quality psu, gaming PC’s put the psu under high load for long periods of time and a failure can damage any connected components.

Due to the current ridiculous prices of gpu’s you are likely better off buying from a pc builder as they often don’t charge such high prices for the gpu when it’s part of a system. Paying £540 for a gpu that should be <£200 is something I could not stomach.
...good enough to run these games at a good fps and if there are any issues..?
that depends on what you consider a good fps,
what resolution you will be playing at,
and what in-game settings you plan to use.

you will definitely want to find a better PSU.
that is pretty low quality and i would not trust it.

Would you consider this build objectively better then mine for gaming?

i heard that pre builds are worse and more expensive though.

Buying a decent graphics card these days is hard to do.
Assuming you can even find one, you will be paying 2x MSRP or more.
Most games are limited by the graphics card.
A GTX1660 super will define what you can do, and is reasonable for 1080P gaming.

Buying old gen is probably not a good strategy.

Look for a I5-11400 or i5-11400Fprocessor. It is an excellent budget gamer.
Here is a review:

The processor comes with a stock cooler that will do the job.

From a functional point of view, buy a ssd of some sort and not a HDD.
Any 1tb ssd will be vastly better.
SSD prices are down, and you may find a m.2 drive at a similar price to a conventional 2.5" ssd.

DO NOT go cheap on the psu.
It can become very expensive if it should fail under load and destroy whatever it is connected to.
The gamemax unit is tier D (only for cheap low end systems)
Consider a quality psu as one of the few future proof products you can buy.
Look for a quality unit with a 7 to 10 year warranty in the 550-650-750w capacity.
