Buying New Computer Help

So my situation currently is that I want to build a new system as I am constrained by my aging i7-3770. My current PC is a Dell XPS 8500.

Specs:
CPU - i7-3770 non-K
HDD - 2 TB Seagate Barracuda
RRAM - Samsung 16 GBs @ 1600 MHz
PSU - EVGA 500w
GPU - Geforce GTX 1070 FE
MOBO - Dell Vostro 470

I am planning to sell this computer on eBay without the GTX 1070 FE, and was wondering if I can sell if for above 700 dollars. The condition of the desktop is like-new, I still haven't taken off the plastic wrapping of the front of the desktop. I would like to take out my the 1070 and try to sell it for above 700 dollars. And in turn buy this barebones kit and put in my GTX 1070 FE.

Another thing I was wondering is how trustworthy this is. I am planning to buy a barebones kit and I wandered across this eBay link.

Is this legit? The eBay seller is 100%. This would be very convenient if I were to be able to sell my desktop and order this barebones kit to make a new one.

So will I be able to sell my Dell XPS 8500 above 700 USD without the Geforce GTX 1070 FE, and in turn buy this barebones kit and put in my owned GTX 1070 FE?

I wouldn't, that kit doesn't even come with a dedicated GPU... But yes, you could easily sell your system for over $700USD, probably even closer to about 850.

Oh I totally forgot to put in, I want to take out my GTX 1070 and then try to sell it above 700 USD. That is why that link does not have a GPU, because I want to put in my already owned GTX 1070.

the power supply makes me want to pass on this. Thermaltake Smart is not a smart choice.
that "barebone" system is just a few things the guy threw together. you can do better.
the 8500 can easily be upgraded, changing the motherboard, CPU, and RAM for far less than a new system. the work should not be harder than populating a "barebone" system.

How much less performance am I getting for the i5-6500 vs the i7-6700? The main reason I am trying to sell my desktop in the first place is the bottleneck I am experiencing with my i7-3770, as it cannot keep up with my 1070. Would the i5-6500 be good enough to diminish that bottleneck? I want the best. How much do you think I would be able to sell my desktop without the 1070, btw?

Oh! That makes more sense XD. I would say that it would probably not go for that much, and you should look more towards selling it at around $550. That computer is overpriced for not having a graphics card, so keep looking!

@ 5% but if you have a bit more money that can easily be made up. I just did not want to add an i3, so I chose the first i5.
you could change the CPU to a 6600K which is @ 13% faster than the i7 you have now
or you could get an i7.
these are options, but the "barebones" system is not a good idea.
I don't really deal in used parts so I have no Idea but I did find this, maybe as a guide.
